Re: No wireless after Debian install

A bit late to the party but, for what it's worth, I'm running a T520
with Debian (originally 9.3.0, now Debian 10).    

On initial install of 9.3 I did have to locate the iwlwifi  .deb file
and install it from USB before wireless would work.

When I upgraded to Debian 10 (which I did with a new install) I made
sure to download a netinst .ISO image which included the 'non-free' 
iwlwifi drivers - this meant I downloaded the image from 
cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/unofficial/nonfree/cd-including-firmware/

(this is because the Intel drivers aren't open-source so 'non-free' so
Debian officially disapproves of them even while it admits the
practical usefulness of including them)

I found either the network manager applet, or the Wicd network manager,
will work.

And the T520 does have a physical Wifi switch, at the front of the
left-hand side.
