Sorry, I correct: what says Touchpoint should read *Touchpad*. Hey, this has been solved, great! Found a HOW-TO on it and the Touchpad works as a second mouse (in addition to a USB-Mouse). Like a champ, it even understands tapping, as well as 3rd button emulation (Sat 1900-101). Used ImPS/2 (as -t imps2 worked fine for gpm) first & it was freaking out too (every icon it hovered over on the KDE-Desktop got an open command, like you would click on it, so I was presented with an attack of countless windows & the cursor would then retreat into left bottom corner.
