[tlinux-users:07406] Ubuntu not getting battery

Hi all. In my ubuntu installation, the battery status is not shown It just
shows that the battery is dried, and need to be charged. The battery is
fine; seems to be a problem with the ACPI of my Sattelite L10 SP104. It's
kind of buggy: even in Windows the battery status as soon as the cable is
unplugged goes from 50 hours pending, low and low to an approximate of the
remaining power, constantly changing back and forth by minutes. Does anybody
had this problem with ubuntu, or other distros, even in other laptop models?
In the ubuntu documentation page(https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ACPIBattery) they
talk about getting the laptop DSDT and compiling some things for fixing
this. In the acpi.sf.net <http://acpi.sf.net> site is a list of DSDT's
files, but one for my laptop is not shown. Does anybody had this problem and
has a DSDT file of this model, or pass through this same issue and solved it
succesfully? Hope for an answer soon, thnx.
