Hi, I'd like to discuss what filesystem would be the best for a GNU/Linux on laptop user. I currently run reiserfs on both my /home and my / partition. On my boot partition which is almost never mounted (only when booting or baking a new kernel), i run ext3. I heard that journalling fs aren't that good for laptop computers, but I can't argue on that. Has anyone experience in this and can say something- i guess some do ;-) -- Best regards, Fred Thiele GnuPG-Key: 0x4F6BE238 <[email protected]>
