Found this doing lshw: > *-firmware > description: BIOS > vendor: TOSHIBA > physical id: 0 > version: Version 1.30 (05/27/2005) That means my bios is not Phoenix, doesn't it? When I was looking more deeply about the fnkeys I read my laptop were compatible with toshiba_acpi, so I suppose I don't need that omnibook step. Furthermore that's something I don't want to do yet, compiling the kernel. I don't have time enough, and I'm a bit afraid of doing that. However I will have to compile my kernel, soon or late, so that's a good information the one you gave me :D. One more thing: Has anybody been able to set a built-in sd card reader up? By the way... > You can find more info about the omnibook kernel module and why > sometoshibas need that module instead of toshiba_acpi in the mail archives > of this mailing list. How can I do that? Excuse me ;)
