[tlinux-users:07626] S-Video for Satellite A60-S126?

Hello everyone.
I am using Kubuntu 5.10 on a Satellite A65-S126 and kernel: 2.6.12-10-386
Has anyone been succelful in making the S-Video output to work? 
And by the way, How do you autodisable the touchpad when you type?
