I can't offer anything on S-video output, but you can disable the 
touchpad with 'Fn' + 'F9' on my A70 running Mandriva 2006. The touchpad 
is super sensitive and even the slightest contact can move the cursor al 
over the place, so I disable it as a matter of course and use a USB 
mouse instead.
