I'd say, either stick with Suse, wait for new version to get the new
software... If you really want to switch, go with a debian-based distro, so
if you want automagicness, Ubuntu, speed and control, Gentoo, the problem
is, both use the net to update packages, so instead of choosing another
distro, why dont you try to make the one you are using right now to work for
you, that or get a faster connection....
