Hi,

I have a Tosh Portégé 7020CT with DVD LAN dock and am trying to get my 
D-Link DWL-G650( Hardware Ver. C2 Firmware Ver. 3.1.6) wireless card to 
work.
I have tried several distros, (Redhat Linux 7.2, Debian Linux 2.2, 
FreeBSD 5.3 - i386, Knoppix Linux 3.6, Fedora Core 2 - i386 & Ubuntu 
5.10) but to no avail.
I have searched many Linux forums for help on this matter and all of the 
suggestions just don't produce the goods.
I can get the card to see the AP, I'm using 64bit Hex WEP encryption, 
and the lights are doing as they should, however, it won't won't obtain 
an IP via the DHCP and won't work with a static IP either. My router is 
a Netgear DG834G V.2 Firmware V3.01.25.

Any suggestions or info on this would be greatly appreciated.
