Hi, I'm desperate on getting my new Toshiba Satellite L20-121 to fully work under linux. Tried all main distros: Knoppix, FC4, Ubuntu, Suse 10.0. I have to boot with "acpi=off" or I have no ethernet and a sluggish, jerky cursor on the screen. The main problems are: no FN+FX keys work, no battery status control, no system poweroff (have to switch off manually). I recently upgraded BIOS to 1.4. No progress. I'm a teacher and I must have linux on this laptop to demonstrate the system to my students using a projector. I can send signal to the projector, by my tft stays black then. Please kindly help. plaszczyk
