Hi, I am trying desperately installing linux on my new laptop (Tecra L2) but haven't succeeded yet. Ubuntu: hang when loading the kernel. Mandriva: SATA error: no devices. SUse: DHCP issue. It seems like SATA chipsets aren't supported and caused the problem. So I tried to modify BIOS... No available option to switch from SATA to legacy ATA. (according to: http://linuxmafia.com/faq/Hardware/sata.html ) Does anybody that has successfully installed linux on Tecra L2 give me advice on this? It's better to know somebody has done this before or any painless walkaround... Thank you. Kachingkazoo
