--> Yes, for some reason this happens a lot when I'm using ndiswrapper. 
I recently had to format my root partition & reinstall Ubuntu Breezy -- 
prior to that, this would happen frequently when I lost a wireless 
connection & issued a sudo dhclient wlan0 command. Now it happens 
whenever I start ndiswrapper, which is doubly weird since the same 
installation used to work before.

The difference is, earlier I used the old version of ndiwrapper which I 
got from the apt repositories. This time I used the new 1.10 version, 
which I compiled from source. I gave up & didn't pay it any attention 
since I was overloaded with work soon after this happened, & ethernet 
access works fine.

Mine is a Satellite A45, using a Motorola PCI wireless card with the 
Broadcom chipset.
