I have a Toshiba M45-S355 and probabily my BIOS is not TOSHIBA, but PHOENIX, so whem I try modprobe toshiba_acpi I get a error message. > So - I do need to recompile my kernel and I do need a pointer to some > docs that tell me how to go about this so I don't break everything else! If your BIOS is PHOENIX, the toshiba_acpi don't work. I have a problems with ACPI too! Fn+Fx don't work, so I need turn-on the laptop with Windows to use Fn + FX (e.g.: brightness control) and restart the laptop to use SuSE!
