thanks, I didn't bother translating it indeed. the command lines would be 
sufficient for a linux terminal user :). i applied the patch and here comes 
the the battery monitor again. 

someone has to put these lines on a page, but another debate forks out: 
there's no need to learn any more languages while there's the internet and of 
course the googling.
