[tlinux-users:07871] satellite a60-106 pcmcia not recognised

Help please
Dual boot (XP & FC4 kernel 2-6-16) D-Link wifi pcmcia card works fine in 
Windows but the existence of the card is not recognised in linux. Here

It is exactly the same when the card is in as when the card is removed.

dmesg also reports "card in" and "card out"

I know that this particular card D-Link DWL G650+ is not supported 
natively in Linux, but I have compiled into the kernel tree the 
ACX100/111 driver for the card. I have also tried ndiswrapper, but when 
the win drivers have been instaled (from web and CD) ndiswrapper reports 
that the card cannot be found. Also I have tried inserting a 3COM NIC 
card, An Accton NIC card and an old Hayes FAx/Modem card none of which 
are recognised and all result in the same lspci output.
It seems that the card's presence is noted but it is not being connected 
to the PCI bus
Does anyone have any ideas on what to do next?
