A couple of thing to clear up - First of all, you do not recompile
the BIOS. What they are talking about is recompiling the kernel. But
the options they are talking about are already enabled, so this will
not help. The problem is that some Toshiba laptops use Toshiba's own
BIOS, and others use Phoenix's BIOS. You can tell what you have by
looking at the screen when you boot up. If you have the Phoenix logo
in the lower right of the screen when booting, you have the Phoenix
BIOS, and FNFX is not going to work for you.
