I started on the Toshiba Linux website,
http://linux.toshiba-dme.co.jp/linux/, read the new install report there
for the Tecra A7, and while it doesn't mention BIOS support, it does
mention ACPI is working, which I take to indicate that it IS a Toshiba
BIOS, but that's still a guess. The Toshiba part of the tuxmobil.org
website also points to the same Tecra A7 install report from the Toshiba
Linux website, and the linux-on-laptops Toshiba section will probably
point to the Tecra A7 install report going forward. But neither include
specific BIOS manufacturer information..

What I was hoping was that someone who had knowledge or hands on of the
A7 BIOS could share the information. Perhaps this is something that
could be added to the install reports in the future. (just a thought..)
