Is there any list anywhere of which Toshiba laptops have the Phoenix BIOS and which have (I assume) Toshiba BIOS? Or more specifically which Toshiba laptops are supported by the Toshiba ACPI module included in the kernel, and which are supported by the Omnibook module? I ask in specific because I would like to determine what level of Linux compatibility BEFORE I purchase my next laptop. An alternate question is, if I've downloaded the BIOS for a Toshiba laptop, copied the files from the update CDROM, by which I assume I now have an on disk copy of the BIOS, look at the file and determine which BIOS it is? Thanks Jason
