Probabily you format your HD... so is impossible reboot your laptop.
Use Gparted (e.g.) to CREATE a partition

Copy your CD as IMAGE-DISC, and after BURN a IMAGE-DISC... don't use
copy-paste, because this CD have some hiden files.
