Hi all
I have finaly succeded in getting my linux running on my notebook.
I still have some problems though,
I use a satellite A45-S121 toshiba notebook and i want to be able to set up my network parameters so that I can log on to the network using my linux OS (fedora core 5).
what is the equivalent of setting LAN setting for fedora.
I have noted some issues, my fn keys are not functional and ahen i press the fn + f3 keys (for stanby) my cursor disappears and it cannot be recovered.
Also, the computer seems to be low on noise from the fan( which is desirable) I can feel the fan blowing though, hope that is not bad on the system side because it is okay on my side.
I will read through the past issues for solutions to fn key problems and any other problem but the pressing one which I badly need help is the networking issue because i cannot browze the internet and the firefox browser tell me that it cannot connect.
     Thanx all.
