Thanks a lot Renato, I know what you answer me, currently I have a 
Laptop with Window$ 98SE and Gentoo linux with the Partitions as 
mentioned by you, and also I have a Desktop Compaq machine in the same 
condition, but including Kubuntu and Gentoo with a common HOME partition.

My question is related to a technical issue for TECRA M5 od A7/8 which I 
hope to be answered by technical people from TOSHIBA, or someone from 
the community that has experience about.
