Same for me with the FN keys. The brightness actually adjusts to the power scheme I am using depending on if I am using battery or wall power. Azael, I have a Toshiba M45-S355 and Fn+Fx and Multimedia HotKeys don't work to me, but I can change brightness using omnibook module (http://sourceforge.net/projects/omnibook).
