[tlinux-users:08380] A105-S4284 page & SATA problem

Hi all,

I've created a page where I'm putting info about installing
Slackware Linux 11 on the A105-S4284, which is here:

http://home.comcast.net/~fbui/Linux-on-ToshibaA105.html

I've run into a few problems, particularly the SATA controller.
The newer Intel driver doesn't work so I have to use the older,
deprecated one, and that driver doesn't use DMA so it is
quite slow.

00:1f.2 IDE interface: Intel Corporation 82801GBM/GHM (ICH7 Family)
Serial ATA Storage Controller IDE (rev 02)

If anyone has any info on how to get it working
without using the deprecated driver, I would appreciate
learning how.

Thanks,
Zack
