I would go with install-amd64-minimal-2006.1.iso[1] personally, but
see the Gentoo Handbook[2] for all possibilities. I don't own a 64 bit
machine myself but I've helped a friend install Gentoo on a 64 bit
machine. I find that the amd64 version of the Handbook does a pretty
good job of outlining the differences between 32 bit and 64 bit
processors.
