Yes, correct is "irqpoll" and not "irqpool". Sorry.
Why you use irqpoll on your M45-S265?

I have M45-S355 and I don't need this parameter in my OpenSuSE 10.1 and 
Debian Etch (4.0).

I use this parameter in older kernel versions (<2.6.18.2) because the 
ethernet driver (sky2 module) don't work well, but with kernel >2.6.18.2 
this module work very well and this parameter is not necessary.
