yes  , i tried to  load  omnibook  module

# modprobe omnibook  ectype=1

and also  found   file  in   /proc/omnibook/lcd and run
# echo 0 >> /proc/omnibook/lcd

, but there  is no change in brightness .





If yes, you can edit this file to change brightness.
