The Fn Key function works with volume toggle, but not with LCD Brightness. A did not tested with new Ubuntu 7.04 (actually I'm using 6.10), so, maybe we need to recompile the Kernel / do a fresh instalation / update the OS. I'll test with Live-CD, and post results here. 2007/6/22, Kyle Pelton <[email protected]>: > > atul jain wrote: > > Hello , > > > > yes also my notebook (Toshiba Satellite A100-139) > > comes with OEM windows, > > but i formatted it within 30 min , wen i bought my notebook. > > Also thanks for information , but in burn a > > boot-cd with the bios-updater method > > either i need iso image of bios update or floppy image, but the > > problem is that , i did not find > > any of two after extracting the bios update exe file . > > > > Do you have idea regarding it , also i m trying to figure out > > the way to do bios update in linux. > > > > > > On 6/22/07, *Thomas Lopes* <[email protected] > > <mailto:[email protected]>> wrote: > > > > My A135-S2081 come with Windows (Original!), so I'll can ran bios > > update normally, but there's another way: burn a boot-cd with the > > bios-updater (there's more information about this on toshiba > > website, do some search...) > > > > 2007/6/22, Julian Sikorski <[email protected] > > <mailto:[email protected]>>: > > > > 2007/6/22, Eric Cyr <[email protected] > > <mailto:[email protected]>>: > > > To be honest, I was in Windows when I ran it.
