Hi everyone a time ago i've got this problem, thanks for the answers . I've solved the problem installing kubuntu gutsy with kernel 2.6.22.8, the only problem now is the sound quality, at first i haven't got sound. Adding the line "options snd-hda-intel model=3stack" in /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base the problem was resolved, but the quality is realy bad. Any idea for this issue. This is the sound card detected by kubuntu: 00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller (rev 02) thanks for the help.
