Hi Renato, Thanks for the reply. The 75, 85 and 100Hz refresh rate are stated in the laptop manual so the its LCD should support these. It's a wide screen WXGA so 1280x800 is fine. The problem I have is not with the resolution but enabling the higher refresh rates, Joel. "Renato S. I think that this refresh rate is in "VGA Output" and not to your LCD video. Your video card can reproduce a refresh rate of 75, 85 and 100Hz (with lower resolution), but your LCD video can't. > - The only available screen resolution is 1280x800 but the laptop manual > lists 1024x768 and 800x600. Your LCD is 15" or 15.4" (widescreen)? 1280x800 is to LCD widescreen. You can edit /etc/X11/xorg.conf, inserting 1024x768 in section "Screen", subsection "Modes". Regards, Renato S.
