Has anyone had any good results getting your intel-hda-sound working? I have 
tried compiling and installing the new alsa 1.0.14 source, lib and utilities 
to no avail in multiple distro's. I have tried various ubuntu, opensuse and 
mandriva, to no avail. Unless I include acpi=ht upon booting, sound does not 
work.

Any ideas out there?
