The FAT partition in my Toshiba A45 works perfectly. I use dual boot, so
there's a NTFS partition for Windows XP, a FAT for sharing files (mostly
mp3's) between both systems, and three Linux partitions (1 for /home, 1 for
system and 1 smaller for swap). But Linux can read and write on the NTFS
partition, as well as Windows can read/write on EXT3 partitions, although I
prefer not to write on them this way...
