I had an experience where my flash drive (which seemed to be the "sda" driver) wasn't recognized in Linux because it had been detected as already mounted in Windows. So the mount point was in Windows/C/D or something, off the partition root (not at /media/USB&&&, as normal in this SUSE distribution). Now I'm trying to make the system dual-bootable, but whenever I try to boot through the Gentoo installer CD, mount my linux partition (/dev/sda6) and try to install grub on the root drive (/dev/sda6), it shows disk IO error and /dev/ doesnot show any sda. What should be the problem? Any help will be highly appreciated. Manik --------------------------------- Yahoo! oneSearch: Finally, mobile search that gives answers, not web links.
