Hoping that Toshiba officials read this:

Back in January kernel developer Greg Kroah-Hartman from Novell
started a project offering companies free Linux driver development.

This proved so successful that Novell made it his full-time job, and
now the project has grouped more than 200 kernel developers:
http://www.linuxdriverproject.org/ .

So Toshiba, please submit specs for your hardware wherever possible,
and convince your hardware providers to do so too. They have NDA
covered if necessary.

A wonderful start would be submitting ACPI specs for your new
generation notebooks.
