Just download the iso and burn a CD. You= may want to select English for the menu language. Default options worked = on my laptop. I gave up on both. I have found that Kanotix and SimplyMEPIS= both do a good job with the hardware on this machine. Kanotix found all de= vices and worked well. I have a RealTek wireless ca= rd and my modem is a software modem. I've tried downloading the software to= determine my modem's chipset, and it's done, but I'm unsure as to what my = next step is.
