  Hello everyone.

  I'm posting here as a last ditch effort.  I'm having hellish
problems with this laptop.  Personally, I like the laptop itself,
but..

  There are several things that are just plain old bad.  The lack of
VT technology enablement in the BIOS is annoying.  The chip supports
it, all it has to do is be exposed via the BIOS.  As a software
engineer, I would love to be able to run 64 bit guests, but I cannot
without this bit being toggled for the processor in BIOS.

  And the doozy.  Linux support.  I understand hacks, shortcuts, and
things that are overlooked.  But I'm really put off by the lack of
Linux support in general.  The ACPI provided by the BIOS is just plain
non-standard.    Having to hack the ACPI data manually is a horrible
idea.  Something as simple as Toshiba provided tables for the kernel
to use would be wonderfully simple, and would solve most problems with
this laptop.

  Has anyone found resolutions for the P105-9722 and Linux?  So I
actually have sound AND the GPU fan functioning?
