Hi
   Thanks Andersson , for clearing the doubts
I had started trying out the configurations from the
url
http://www.ultramonkey.org/3/topologies/ha-lb-eg.html
   Since I am just starting , I thought I will try to
cluster only port 80
   Commands “ip addr sh” shows results simillar to the
documents ,

ldirectord status shows as
# /etc/ha.d/resource.d/ldirectord ldirectord.cf status
ldirectord for /etc/ha.d/ldirectord.cf is running with
pid: 2445

                      But my   “ipvsadm -L -n “
results shows some problem . It gives the weight as
0 for the real servers

     [root@Director-ONE ha.d]# ipvsadm -L -n
IP Virtual Server version 1.2.0 (size=4096)
Prot LocalAddress:Port Scheduler Flags
  -> RemoteAddress:Port           Forward Weight
ActiveConn InActConn
TCP  192.168.6.240:80 rr
  -> 192.168.7.5:80               Masq    0      0
     0
  -> 192.168.7.4:80               Masq    0      0
     0
  -> 127.0.0.1:80                 Local   1      0
     0

      Also , my http request is not redirected to the
real server , I get the “Director-Machine “ web pages
only
        Please let me know , what all other parameters
I have to check . I am using CentOS ( 2.6.9-34) .
Guidance requested . The configurations details are
given below
                         Thanks
                              Joseph John

I have two Linux -Directors and Two Real Servers

Linux Director – TWO has IP

I have iptables set on my Linux Director and the
listing shows

[root@Director-ONE ha.d]# iptables -L -n -t nat
Chain PREROUTING (policy ACCEPT)
