Hi John, glad I could clear some of your doubts. The problem you are seeing now with weight 0 indicates you have some sort of trouble with the "service verification" that ldirectord can do for you. Just to make it a little simple in the start, try with checktype=connect in your ldirectord.cf for starters. (Or make sure you really can get the supposed content for the index.html page when requesting it using the rs:s ip-addresses (vhost configuration...)) /Mattias > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] [mailto:ultramonkey-users- > [email protected]] On Behalf Of John Joseph > Sent: Monday, August 14, 2006 2:59 PM > To: UltraMonkey UMMailingList > Subject: ipvsadm :- Getting real server weight as "0" : Cannot access the > real server home page > > > Hi > Thanks Andersson , for clearing the doubts > I had started trying out the configurations from the > url > http://www.ultramonkey.org/3/topologies/ha-lb-eg.html > Since I am just starting , I thought I will try to > cluster only port 80 > Commands "ip addr sh" shows results simillar to the > documents , > > ldirectord status shows as > # /etc/ha.d/resource.d/ldirectord ldirectord.cf status > ldirectord for /etc/ha.d/ldirectord.cf is running with > pid: 2445 > > But my "ipvsadm -L -n " > results shows some problem .
