run command after failover

Hi, I'm using heartbeat to do failover for my asterisk, i binded the asterisk on the virtual IP, coz for some reason it does not work properly if binded to 0.0.0.0. my question would be, if the master fails, virtual ip will go to slave, i need to run asterisk on the slave so that it can be binded to the virtual IP. how can i run the asterisk daemon when the slave takes over?
