Web servers are not nearly overloaded, and, in fact, they can take more
beating when tested directly.

We also took down the firewall for a short while - same thing.

I've been trying to access the VIP directly, to test within the network.
I am pretty sure I was able to do that before, somehow, but not anymore.

Basically, I need to know if the bastion host is the bottleneck.
