LVS failover sequence

I'm testing failover on a "Streamline Highly Availability and Load
Balancing" configuration.

When heartbeat fails, or is stopped, the new director takes control
before it has completed initialization. Basically this means that most
of my virtual services are still pointing to the fallback server for a
while. (a few seconds for each virtual services)

Since I'm planning on balancing over 30 virtual services this will mean
that my server is down for over 1 minute before the director has
initialized.

Is there a way to have the backup director on hot standby to prevent
this initialization time?

Thanks
  -Jason
