HA 2 and ultramonkey

What would people recommend nowadays for running LVS and HA and
Direct-Routing?

I've been an ultramonkey user for several years and I loved to use it
but have lost track about four years ago due to customer shortage:)
Now I would need to come back to speed as I have the opportunity to
build a 4-node cluster (2xLVS, 2xRealServer) from scratch.

Is ultramonkey still recommended or is it somehow superceded by HA2? I
see no hint on the HA pages that they want to replace ultramonkey, but
I figure it's a good idea to ask beforehand.

Would people choose to build a new cluster on top of HA1 because it's
so well established and well documented or is HA2 already stable
enough?
