All, I have been sucessfully running UM3 on CentOS 4.0 for several months now. I can't seem to remember how I installed it before, but I have the RPMS that I think I used. Well, today I tried to set up replacement servers by installing those same RPMS onto a fresh CentOS 4.2 server and though the packages installed successfully, I can't seem to get the machine to work properly. When heartbeat starts up, it immediately take over the VIPs even though it is not the primary. In addition, it does not appear to be letting any packets through to the load balanced servers. Can anybody tell me if something in CentOS 4.2 is different (maybe the kernel or something) which would cause problems with UM3? Has anyone sucessfully gotten UM3 installed on CentOS 4.2 and want to share their RPMS or point me to some documentation on how to get it set up? I am using 2 UM3 servers in HA mode with 7 real servers. UM3 is set up with NAT. My /etc/ha.d directory is identical to the previous installation which is working in production now.
