(usagi-users 03960) AW: How to enable IPv6 only on a particular interface

Hi Pramendra,

that should be no problem: If you configure manually IPv6 addresses only on one interface and delete all IPv6 link-local addresses (beginning with fe80::) on the other interfaces, than only one interface is able to handle IPv6 packets.

Furthermore, in /proc/sys/net/ipv6/conf you should only see one eth-interface!

Is it possible to enable IPv6 only on a particular interface on a machine(say that my machine has eth0,
eth1 and eth2 interfaces and I want to enable IPv6 support only on eth0 intrface).

did anyone came across/worked on this scenario. Any suggestions/ remarks/ thoughts /views will be extremely helpful.
