Re: about java-1.6.0-sun-compat

The java-1.6.0-sun-compat package is supposed to add Jpackage-like
symlinks and directories to the rpm offered for download by Sun at their
http://java.sun.com site. So, it doesn't have nothing to do with any
redhat supplementary repo.

Imho the cleanest way to work with Sun's JDK in a JPP environment is
going through the rebuild of e.g.
http://jpackage.netmindz.net/6.0/generic/SRPMS.non-free/java-1.6.0-sun-1.6.0.14-1jpp.nosrc.rpm
i.e. not with the Sun rpm but with the selfextracting Linux-Installer
from Sun.
