I am also not convinced that there isn't a way to fix it on Fedora. We
may have had a partial fix already, but I would like to try again with
the following flags:

--define "_source_filedigest_algorithm 1" \
--define "_binary_filedigest_algorithm 1" \
--define "_binary_payload w9.gzdio" \
--define "_source_payload w9.gzdio"
