I've seen this problem in the last several days - there is a checksum error on the YUM repository meta-data file and this was replicated to all mirrors, so the YUM repositories for JPackage 5 no longer work. I believe this can be easily fixed by regenerating the repository meta data. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] Reply-to: Discussion about JPackage project <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Subject: [JPackage-discuss] [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try Date: Tue, 06 Apr 2010 18:50:54 +0200 Hi I use ScientificLinux4.8 when I do a yum update I get: Error: failure: repodata/primary.xml.gz from jpackage5-generic: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try. I dont know the reason why this suddenly appears but I guess there must be something wrong with this specific repo. I tried yum update on two virtual machines and in both the same error suddenly appears. thx pod Content of jpackage.repo [jpackage5-generic] name=JPackage 5, generic baseurl=http://mirrors.dotsrc.org/jpackage/5.0/generic/free/ enabled=1 protect=1 gpgkey=http://www.jpackage.org/jpackage.asc gpgcheck=1 [jpackage5-generic-nonfree] name=JPackage 5, generic non-free baseurl=http://mirrors.dotsrc.org/jpackage/5.0/generic/non-free/ enabled=1 protect=1 gpgkey=http://www.jpackage.org/jpackage.asc gpgcheck=1 -- Oded Arbel <[email protected]>
