it neither works for me. I hope this will be resolved soon. Yesterday 
evening I caught myself singing "No more mirrors to try" to the tune "No 
woman, no cry".

Scientific Linux 4.7
# yum --version
2.4.3

The same version is used in Scientific Linux 4.8.

The packages provided by this Scientific Linux distribution are so 
desperately old...
