Well, 1.6.0_19 lasted all of two weeks due to a Windows security issue. (Why am I not surprised?) I'm attaching a .spec file for java-sun-1.6.0, for us RHEL 5 users. Note that this does build a nosrc.rpm, it does require JDK to compile, and it does require jpackage-utils from JPackage rather than the antique RHEL 5 version. And installing that jpackaage-util also requires either significant yum configuration editing, which is pretty painful if you have RHEL and its weird yum-rhn-plugin that has no way to gracefully manage yum-style exclusions or preferences, or my previously published "jpackage-utils-compat-el5" package to satisfy the RHEL dependencies on /usr/bin/rebuild-security-providers. Enjoy. _______________________________________________ JPackage-discuss mailing list [email protected] https://www.zarb.org/mailman/listinfo/jpackage-discuss
