Re: vrrp not working with use_vmac, and a, partial solution

I'm far from been an expert in keepalived, but I think you should have
an ip in the "physical" or base interface in order  to get keepalived to
comunicate:

# Send/Recv VRRP messages from base interface instead of
           # VMAC interface
           vmac_xmit_base

so no matter what's the state of you vmac interface, you'll always get
keepalived control information flowing.
