Hi
the config is really simple, the vmac stuff is not activated in this config.
# cat /etc/keepalived/keepalived.conf
! Configuration File for keepalived
global_defs {
notification_email {
[email protected]
}
notification_email_from [email protected]
smtp_server smtp.xxxxx
smtp_connect_timeout 60
router_id LVS_TSNLB
}
vrrp_script chk_haproxy {
script "killall -0 haproxy" # widely used idiom
interval 1 # check every 2 seconds
}
vrrp_instance VI_1 {
state MASTER
! use_vmac
! vmac_xmit_base
garp_master_refresh 15
interface eth0
virtual_router_id 100
priority 100
advert_int 1
authentication {
auth_type AH
auth_pass XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
}
virtual_ipaddress {
xxx.xxx.xxx.152
xxx.xxx.xxx.153
xxx.xxx.xxx.154
xxx.xxx.xxx.155
xxx.xxx.xxx.156
}
track_script {
chk_haproxy weight 2 # +2 if process is present
}
! notify_master /usr/local/bin/vmac_tweak.sh vrrp.100
}

Robert

Betreff: Re: [Keepalived-devel] keepalived segfaults on Centos 6.5
Hi Robert,
When i add use_vmac and vmac_xmit_base to a test keepalived.conf i see
in the log:
Nov 20 13:10:56 logging Keepalived_vrrp[10671]: vmac: Success creating
VMAC interface vrrp.10 for vrrp_instance test
I use Debian Wheezy and keepalived 1:1.2.13-1~bpo70+1, so maybe it's a
CentOs issue, can you share your keepalived.conf so i can try it on my
Debian machine?
Regards,
Frank
